The Sector Support Performance & Accountability (SSPA) portfolio collaborates with a wide range of system partners to provide high-quality, equitable care through health service provider performance management and accountability and the development and implementation of funding policy and models. In addition, SSPA supports the coordination, integration and capacity planning of programs and initiatives across sectors providing in-depth expertise in home and community care, long-term care and acute care.

2 Summer Student roles available.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into reports and presentations- Conduct data analysis using various tools (i.e. Microsoft Excel) and prepare summary of data and trends, identifying key messages.- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and briefing notes when required.- Help support the identification, development and implementation of process improvements to optimize workflows- Utilize project management skills by developing work back schedules, managing activities’ deadlines/dependencies and preparing status reports for initiatives- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders when required.- Support the team by offering clerical assistance as required

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- Grade 12 Diploma- Some university/college is an asset

Knowledge and Skills- Experience with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint- Ability to communicate clearly, work in a team and independently- Excellent written/oral communication skills.- Ability to learn quickly

Employment Type: 2x Fixed Term Contracts (Summer Student
- May -August)

Salary Band: Student
