**What will you be doing?**

The Commercial Insurance Entry I is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- This position processes basic insurance transactions and policies
- Assist Commercial producers with letters, binders of insurance; certificates of insurance
- Processes basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
- Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk. (only once Level 1 license has been obtained).
- Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services. (only once Level 1 license has been obtained).
- Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings.
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to credit union policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

- Knowledge of Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services
- Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
- Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
- Proficient computer skills
