Generations Sport & Spine Physiotherapy Centre has two private, out-patient physiotherapist-owned clinics located in Welland and Niagara Falls. Our state-of-the-art clinic in Welland also offers a full fitness centre and aquatics program in addition to physiotherapy and massage services. Our 24-hour gym is open to the public, with basic gym memberships, as well as gym memberships with unlimited classes. We offer Aqua Fit classes, Pilates, Group Fit classes, Box Fit, Cycle Fit, and yoga.

We are looking to hire a skilled individual to assist at the front desk with gym and clinic administrative duties. Reception staff are often the first people that a member or patient interacts with when entering our facility. It is an extremely important role in the representation of our company as they are the point of contact for our day-to-day interactions with clients. We are looking for someone that is customer service driven, self-motivated, reliable, and proficient at multitasking.

Qualities:

- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be friendly, positive, and approachable.
- Must be courteous and professional when dealing with callers and visitors.
- Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Fitness Centre:

- Maintaining gym class schedule - adding/removing classes and trainers, etc.
- Registering gym members, entering all necessary information.
- Making sure gym members are scanning key fobs/checking into the gym
- Overseeing the daily operation of the gym.
- Entering payment information for gym members.
- Cancelling gym members as per procedure.
- Updating/organizing gym member paper files.
- Answering phone calls in a professional manner.
- Answering inquiries from clients and other interested parties.
- Meeting or exceeding basic workplace safety standards.
- Handling customer service issues.

Pool Maintenance:

- Completing daily pool checklist and binder (Not applicable on Sunday as no pool use).
- Removing/adding “Make-up” water.
- Testing water and adjustments.
- Checking pool temperature.
- Completing monthly pool checklist.
- Taking water sample to Pool store once monthly and as needed.

Gym Maintenance:

- Assisting with light cleaning: keeping the gym floor neat, sanitized, and organized and change room upkeep.
- Keeping the reception area tidy.

Physiotherapy Clinic Reception:

- Greeting and welcoming clients in a timely manner.
- Scheduling and canceling clients according to policies.
- Collecting payment and providing receipts for services.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
