**SUMMARY**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily housekeeping operations with a focus on guest service and team effectiveness. Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms regularly to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Oversee staff scheduling and labor cost management to align with budgetary constraints. Task Allocation: Distribute daily tasks to staff equitably, enhancing efficiency and satisfaction.
- Team Supervision and Development: Supervise and train housekeeping personnel, fostering skill enhancement and teamwork.
- Standards of Cleanliness: Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. Health and Safety: Maintain health and safety standards to ensure a secure and efficient work environment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct monthly and weekly inventories of linen and supplies, ensuring adequate stock. Procurement: Oversee departmental purchasing based on operational needs.
- Guest Interaction: Engage guests and employees warmly, prioritizing service quality, especially for VIPs.
- Facilities Coordination: Coordinate with the Engineering department to upkeep room and building conditions.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Ensure effective communication between housekeeping and other hotel departments.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years in a senior/leadership housekeeping position.
- Industry Knowledge: Excellent understanding of all aspects of hotel housekeeping, including guest rooms and public areas. Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in problem analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication abilities.
- Self-Management: Must be a self-starter, organized, and task-oriented, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines. Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, and team building skills, with a display of self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
- Utilization of Opera (PMS and Micros systems (POS) is an asset
- Possesses an eye for the smallest detail.
- Must be able to work standing, clean guest rooms, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality is an asset.
- Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment.
- Adhere to Pinnacle at the Pier core values.
