MTN House by Basecamp is a new luxury property added to the Basecamp Properties portfolio. MTN House has 99 newly renovated hotel rooms, an elevated fine dining restaurant (opening September 2023) and a Nordic Spa (opening July 2024). MTN House will represent a luxurious hotel, with all amenities right on location, so all guests can enjoy an experience like no other in the heart of the mountains.

Position Overview
We are looking for a part-time Maintenance Worker to join our maintenance team at MTN House. You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks throughout the hotel.

**Location**: Canmore

**Shifts**: Part-time, permanent (5:00PM to 11:00PM)

**Wage**: $22-$23

Key Responsibilities
- Landscaping; lawn, flower care.
- Snow-removal.
- Day-to-day maintenance
- Work with the team to address maintenance concerns in a timely fashion.
- Observe strict safety practices.
- Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Respond to all maintenance issues on a timely basis, including troubleshooting and undertaking repairs in relation to guest rooms and common areas. Maintenance issuers may include minor plumbing, painting, and a wide range of repair work.
- Liaise with front desk and housekeeping departments when required.
- Assist on various new projects as the properties develop.

**Requirements**:

- Previous maintenance experience an asset.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tool) is an asset.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and other manuals and documents.
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours.
- Must provide a negative criminal record check.
