Halifax, Canada Classic Building Cleaners Full time

**Requirements**:

- Own a vehicle, and have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Be willing and able to drive the company extended van
- Be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Be flexible and willing to work in various locations and complete a variety of tasks
- Pass a Criminal Record Check
- Permanent position, full time,_ 35-40 hours/week, evening shift, flexible schedule.

[Likely 4:30pm/5:00pm to 12:30am/1:00am].

**Travel/Transportation**: Most locations, if not all, are located in the HRM. Mileage is paid between job sites when using own car. An excellent driving record is an asset. The company van will be used to transport the necessary products and equipment; floor technician will be responsible to drive the van to the work sites.

**Work Location Information**: _Various locations._ Sometimes one location per night, sometimes multiple locations per night.

(May include: Office buildings, Industrial facilities or establishments, Commercial buildings, Recreational facilities/institutions, Health care institutions or clinics.)

**Responsibilities**:

- **Floor Technician (includes)**:Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum, operate auto scrubber, strip and wax floors, operate carpet machine, operate floor burnisher, etc.
- **Fill-in/Floater (when there is no floor work scheduled)**: Dusting, vacuuming, washing, disinfecting, emptying trash bins, windows and glass, filling in for sick calls and vacations. Occasionally picking up and dropping off cleaners.
- **Experience**:_We will provide extensive training, but experience is an asset.
- **Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:_Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, for extended periods.
