Janitorial Supervisor

Working supervisor.
- Detail-orientated, self-starter.
- Driver's licence and transportation required.
- A proven track record and references are required.
- Required necessary skills and best practices for janitorial maintenance/floor/carpet maintenance.
- On rotation for 24/7 on-call, including weekend work.
- Inspect all locations weekly - communicate and maintain relations with clients.
- Night inspections 2x per week x 2 locations min -Communicate and maintain relations with staff.
- Fill out weekly maintenance inspection forms and file.
- Do inventory monthly and file.
- Act as cleaner replacement when staff absences occur.
- Maintain storage rooms.
- Maintain stock and supplies.
- Schedule periodic extra cleaning tasks and floor maintenance/carpet steam cleaning.
- Attend site inspections and reviews.
- Will be required to hold a valid PWGSC security clearance at all times.
- Maintain a backup call list for emergency/temp staff shortages and holiday schedules.

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 3 years (required)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
