Test Centre Supervisor

**Summary of the position**:
- Oversee the delivery of a fair, proper, and consistent test experience so test takers can perform optimally
- Helping to deliver smooth and efficient test administration from test area set up and test taker check-in up until the last test taker has left and the wrap-up duties have been completed
- Report to Paragon Support on test delivery
**We are offering two contracts choices**:
- Full-time (approximately 30 hours per week)
- Part-time (up to 20 hours per week).
(from Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - evening weekday shifts and full day shifts on the weekends)
**The Supervisor/Invigilator’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited, to**:
- Ensuring that the test is delivered in a timely manner, including equipment and software checks, and confirming that all members of the test centre personnel are readily available;
- Overseeing all procedures to ensure that the test is delivered in a timely manner; and
- Understanding the responsibilities of a Paragon Test Day Technician ("Technician") and Paragon Invigilator and be readily available to fulfill these roles when required
- Supervise all members of the test centre personnel to ensure that responsibilities are appropriately fulfilled, and follow policies and procedures as established by Paragon which include, but are not limited, to:
- Receiving the test day documents from the Test Centre Administrator;
- Ensuring that the test room and stations are ready for delivery;
- Coordinating the movement of test takers from their arrival at the test centre to their departure;
- Ensuring that the check-in process starts in a timely manner and that all procedures are appropriately followed;
- Enforcing Paragon’s test day rules, including monitoring, reporting, and, if applicable, addressing any test taker misconduct;
- Ensuring that test takers are actively invigilated and escorted at all times;
- Resolving and documenting issues as they arise by liaising with the Test Centre Administrator as required, and fulfilling all reporting and documentation requirements as outlined by Paragon; and
- Ensuring that tests are uploaded and that all equipment is securely stored following test completion;
- Becoming familiar with Paragon’s guidelines for test security as outlined in the Test Procedures Manual
**Knowledge, qualifications and experience**:
- Fluency in speaking, listening to, reading, and writing English
- Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- An appreciation of the importance of high-stakes testing
- Professionalism when interacting with a diverse test taker population
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure or in unexpected circumstances
- Willingness to lead a team
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Dependability, reliability and punctuality
- Attention to detail
