The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for leadership and implementation of continuous improvement programs to drive Operational Excellence across the Operations environment. The role will identify, manage and deliver and/or manages projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results in cost saving and efficiency improvements.
**What you'll be doing**
Your responsibilities will be to:

- Generate and maintain detailed value stream maps to benchmark existing processes and track process variation
- Engage cross-functionally with key stakeholders to identify and maintain a roadmap of process improvement initiatives
- Propose process improvement priorities based on cost-benefit analysis, project complexity and risk
- Implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six-Sigma principles and identify and track, post implementation, relevant project metrics to initial project targets
- Lead or facilitate Kaizen and 5S events
- Engage with stakeholders to define metrics, establish KPI targets and drive implementation of metrics dashboards
- Drive investigations and lead implementation of corrective action activities
- Foster a continuous improvement culture, develop training materials and train and coach employees in lean methodologies and best practices
- Other tasks as assigned

You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (biomedical, mechanical, automation or industrial engineering, applied physics, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years relevant experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (ASQ-CSSGB)
- Highly analytic and data driven with the ability to organize data and drive conclusions
- Proven experience and success implementing lean-six sigma and cost reduction
- Strong facilitation and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
