Over the past decade, MHICA has built more than aircraft components, it has built a recognized worldwide reputation for capacity, precision, on-time delivery and excellence. MHICA has two state-of-the-art facilities combined to 476,000 sq. ft. This comprises of Manufacturing & Assembly, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, where highly skilled employees are working on Bombardier's sector-leading Global 5000/6000 and Challenger 350 business aircraft. MHICA's technicians build and join wing assemblies and fuselage sections, as well as perform systems and flight control assembly installations and testing.

**Scope of Position**

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Support MHICA Quality engineers on assigned projects (with guidance from direct managers).
- Working in Production and Supplier Quality, review & improve existing Work Instructions for accuracy with existing practices. Rewrite with the goal of eliminating inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with the MRB Coordinator to develop a single comprehensive database that utilities 7 different Quality-focused databases, allowing more efficient use of the Supplier Quality Engineers’ time during analysis.
- Assist and analyze Documentation Control during the delivery cycle.

**Skills and Job Requirements**:

- Must be enrolled in a full time post-secondary program engineering program, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of aircraft assembly process and DWG interpretation preferred.
- Ability to work full-time between May and September 2023.
- CSA-approved safety shoes will be required._

**Duration**:4 months (summer term)

**Shift schedule**:Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (on-site)
