At Speeders, we love to race. We’re the first indoor electric go-karting facility in Canada, and for over 11 years, we’ve been delivering an exhilarating and safe racing experience to racers of all skill levels.
We offer many types of racing, including drop-in racing and group events like bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and corporate events. Our goal is to provide a safe, family-oriented social environment where individuals can enjoy themselves while learning some new skills behind the wheel.
**The Opportunity**:

If so, then your job hunt ends here We are looking for individuals who can work part-time day, evening and weekend shifts. Be at the heart of the action as a member of our Pit Crew We're seeking energetic individuals to assist customers in and out of go karts, assign karts to individuals and ensure customer safety while racing.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform opening duties to make sure the pit and track area is ready to assist customers safely and efficiently.
Push up karts if needed
Instruct customers on proper kart usage, the meaning of the different flags and how to safely navigate the track.
Maintain an orderly and speedy flow of racers through the track
Supervise ongoing races and enforce race policies and procedures
Respond to emergency situations
Ensure that the pit and track areas remain clean and safe
Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day’s operation
Able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
Able to read and interpret documents such as daily checklists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Able to speak effectively before groups of customers and respond to questions
Must have basic mathematical skills
Other duties as required.
