**ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER**

Rossano Property Management provides quality Property Management for a varied and diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, industrial and retail properties.

Mako Mechanical performs mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC work throughout Metro Vancouver. Our team works with a range of clients in service work, with a focus on servicing property management companies and new construction (Tenant Improvement, Commercial Warehouses, Re-Piping).

As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to fill a vital role in our team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Understanding and knowledge of mechanical systems
- Experienced in the service work industry, including renovations, retrofits, upgrades, and emergency repairs
- Trade knowledge and experience
- Excellent people skills as well as communication skills
- Highly developed organizational, planning and time management skills and excellent follow through
- Post-secondary education an asset
- 1-2 years working as an assistant project manager, project coordinator or similar role is an asset
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Role and Responsibilities:

- Trade knowledge and/or experience
- Research information to support other teams and departments as needed
- Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks, monitoring and reporting on project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. Analyzing data as required.
- Build and prepare reports to measure KPI metrics
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Be the main point of contact and support for field technicians and assist them with completing service calls
- Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
- Build rapport with clients and Develop an in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
- Research and analyze pricing, and prepare quotations for various construction projects
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals
- Review and analyze the performance of various procedures within the company and make recommendations for improvements
- Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the company’s physical assets running smoothly
- Source and purchase equipment for Restaurants such as oven ranges, and refrigeration units and source specific parts to service the equipment.

**Salary**: $70,000 to $75,000 per year
