The **Information Management Lead (Americas) **will play a key role to ensure GHDs information management processes and procedures are aligned with GHDs goals and objectives and they are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring GHD’s information assets are effectively managed, protected and used to support GHD’s business goals. You will manage a team of Project Information Managers and Lead Information Controllers who are responsible for the project Information Management scope, budget, and delivery.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work**:
Developing and implementing the information management strategy and business plan for the organization, including identifying the business objectives, goals, and requirements for the IM team. Collaborating with business leaders to understand the ongoing delivery requirements and develop the function in line with GHD America’s vision and strategy. You will be accountable for ensuring the organization's information management processes and procedures are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and oversee the management of data, including data quality, data security, data privacy, data retention, and data archiving.

**Core responsibilities**:

- Lead all information-related projects, such as implementing new information management systems or migrating data to a new platform
- Develop and maintains relationship with internal stakeholders, senior management and external partners
- Represent the organization on information management issues, such as participating in industry conferences and networking events.
- Continuously assess and improve the IM methods and procedures to ensure that it is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives and that it is meeting the needs of stakeholders
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of IM and remains up-to-date with new IM systems, platforms, best practice, and ensuring that the organization or project is taking advantage of these advancement
- Ensure alignment and consistency of delivery performance across the IM teams
- Partner with HR/L&D to develop training materials and training plans for wider business
- Accountable for overseeing all IM deliverables before they are submitted to clients or other stakeholders.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to review bids and frameworks include relevant information management resource and inclusion of information management requirements.

**Skills, experience and qualifications required**:

- **Project management skills**: Ability to manage multiple projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
- **Leadership skills**:Ability to lead and motivate a medium/large team, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization and to coach/develop team leaders.
- **Communication and change skills**:Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and proven ability to obtain buy-in /support for change from stakeholders at all levels.
- **Adaptability**:Ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and workflows as they emerge in the BIM industry.
- **Problem-solving skills**: Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the implementation of BIM processes and technology.
- **Industry knowledge**:A strong understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, and the challenges and opportunities faced by organizations in this sector.
