**Summary**

Slegg Building Materials is seeking a Forklift Operator - Order Builder to join our team. This position is Full-Time and the shifts are Tuesday - Saturday. The wage range is $20.50 - $25.20 per hour (Tier 1: $20.50 - $22.85, Tier 2: $22.85 - $25.20). Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

**The Responsibilities**
- Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms
- Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met
- Build orders to required specifications for delivery
- Clean yard
- Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials
- Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands
- Maintain contact with supervisor(s) and work to resolve issues as they arise
- Other duties as assigned by management

**The Requirements**
- Valid forklift certification (propane)
- Forklift experience is essential
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic hand tool skills
- Physical requirements include:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Sitting and driving for longs periods of time
- Frequently climbing up and down stairs
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
- A positive can do attitude is essential
