**Job Description**:
Responsibilities for this position include:

- Perform various responsibilities for the Remediation Group in Ontario.
- Full responsibility for organizing, coordinating and executing groundwater sampling and drilling programs.
- Full responsibility for all aspects of Project Management, including coordination of technical staff and subcontractors, budgeting, contract management and preparation of invoices.
- Work on interesting, fast-paced projects with the opportunity to learn and expand skills.
- Plan, design and direct environmental assessment, sampling and remediation programs, and critically evaluate analytical data.
- Review and prepare various environmental reports, proposals and other deliverables for clients.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Experience coordinating or managing projects with multiple staff/contractors
- Class G Driver's license.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 5+ years’ experience in environmental consulting, specifically in contaminated site assessment and remediation and /or geo-environmental engineering.
- Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist designation in Ontario.
- Proficiency with conducting/managing environmental assessments completed in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04 and CSA Standards.
- Proficiency with conducting/managing excess soil management projects in accordance with O. Reg. 406/19.
- Technically strong, with a solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
- Prior project management experience and understanding budget requirements.
- Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative.
- Highly motivated and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Strong verbal communicator and technical writer.
- Comfortable with liaising with clients, regulators, colleagues and sub-contractors.
- Well organized, and strong quality and time management.

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation in Hamilton, ON will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
