**What You’ll Do**

The Regional Inside Sales Manager is a key leadership role within Metrie. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer experience and keeping current on company products, sales procedures and market conditions. The Regional Inside Sales Manager will also play a key role in the support, hiring, training and development of the sales team for the assigned region.

**Reporting Relationship & Location**: As a member of the sales leadership team the Regional Inside Sales Manager will report directly into the Regional Sales Manager. The position is based out of our Halton Hills branch.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide strong leadership to the team by collaborating with them to develop and implement initiatives that directly contribute to achieving the company’s sales budget.
- Manage and lead the inside sales support and related administrative services for the assigned region, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Work closely with regional Operations and Sales team members to anticipate and proactively address potential service issues related to stock, deliveries, production scheduling, and other operational aspects. Ensure that customer service expectations are not only met but consistently exceeded.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and customer data specific to the region, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the regional market's mix of business and sales opportunities. Share strategic recommendations with Sales Managers, and Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and profitability in the region.
- Mentor and guide other Sales team members within the region, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to established sales processes, including the use of SAP, pricing guidelines, and best practices.
- Act as a brand ambassador, effectively representing Metrie's interests when interacting with customers, the local community, employees, and suppliers within the assigned region.
- Continuously monitor and analyze regional sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
- Identify training and development needs within the regional team and collaborate with HR to facilitate training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales staff.
- Assist in the development and management of the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on regional sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Identify potential risks and challenges specific to the region and work on risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

***Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred
- 5 - 7 years progressive experience in a sales role. At least 3 years in a team-lead role.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheets
- Proven experience solving business problems and winning customer trust
- Strong written and oral communications skills, ability to deliver presentations to large groups and leadership teams.
- Must have a “Can Do” attitude and approach
- Experience working within the SAP ERP system.

- In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at 100,000.00 130,000.00. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skill
