**Duties**:

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Take and develop radiographs
- Prepare animals and equipment for surgery
- Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and colleagues
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of common veterinary medications and procedures

Our clinic has been operating in the same location for over 30-years and is very community oriented. You’ll learn to welcome long-time clients like extended members of the family.

You will work with seasoned staff in a well-equipped clinic, including a dedicated dental suite and digital x-rays. Work a variety of cases, gaining experience in all areas. We value a good work-life balance and will work with you to make a schedule that works for you. We have dedicated clinic hours with no after-hours work required. You will have a stable schedule based on a two-week rotation - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and every other Saturday - approx. 35-40 hours per week.

We welcome all applicants, including new graduates, who will be mentored by our current staff members, but will also be given the opportunity to work independently and carve your own way.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.03-$28.67 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
