We are seeking a **Planning Team Associate **to join our **Team** for our state-of-the-art facility in London, Ontario. You will be responsible reviewing and identifying the outcomes across all departments to enhance productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the Planning Team Associate will be responsible for analyzing key data, tracking performance metrics and providing actionable insights to optimize cost effective business plans.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Planning**
- Develop Business Plan
- Monitor and evaluate P&L reports
- Review and maintain Planning System validating data and providing expert analysis to upper management.
- Analyze live production data to provide timely and accurate information to the departments
- Create and refine data strategies, structures, reporting, and visualizations to enhance the understanding and delivery of cost effective production processes
- Monitor manufacturing unit cost and cost of goods sold - RM, MRO, and Expenses
- Monitor Capital Investment assets level
- Demonstrated understanding of current financial systems and the key drivers of the manufacturing cost.
**ERP System**
- Manage and update Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Maintain Item Master database
- Assist in resolving the production data issues within ERP system
- Execute month-end closing procedure
- Collaborate proactively with IT vendors to address and resolve any issues related to ERP systems
**Inventory**
- Generate work order in ERP system as required
- Participate in timely physical inventory counts as scheduled
- Execute all required inventory transactions in the system
**Policies & Interpersonal Skills & Problem Solving**
- Support the company’s goals by adhering to policies and procedures; ensure projects compliance with relevant regulations and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, finance, supply chain, maintenance and development to implement process changes.
- Requires the ability to work with limited supervision
- Evaluate the success of active projects and provide updates to Managers
- Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
- Any other duties as required
**Skills & Experience**:
- A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is an asset
- A background in manufacturing is an asset
- Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution
- Able to analyze situations to determine the best resolution through effective troubleshooting and forward thinking
- Capable of working independently and as a team to coordinate work
- Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and demands
- Strong multi-tasking skills, including, great attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks when faced with interruptions
- Dedicated to maintaining confidentiality
- Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- The ability and willingness to follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
