Surveillance Operator

**The job involves**:

- Monitoring gaming floors, table games, soft count rooms, cages, slots, bars, restaurants and back-of-house areas at both properties
- Detecting and monitoring all suspicious activities that may adversely affect gaming, our patrons and associates
- Identifying potential gaming floor conflicts and notifying security and external law enforcement agencies
- Ensuring departments are following standard operating procedures and applicable policies
- Recording accurate and detailed information on reports and conducting thorough investigations using the digital video system
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
- College diploma or University degree with a concentration in Criminology or Law
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a casino environment
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced highly regulated environment
- Proficient computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.52 per hour
