**Job Description: PRODUCTION MANAGER**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning and Scheduling**:

- Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
- Coordinate with other departments to align production plans with overall business goals.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, mentor, and lead production teams, including production supervisors, technicians, and assembly line workers.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
- **Quality Control**:

- Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality modular homes.
- Implement inspection processes and corrective actions as needed to maintain product integrity.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement strategies for smoother operations.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure a steady supply chain and prevent material shortages.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety training and address any potential hazards promptly.
- **Budget and Cost Management**:

- Manage production budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Serve as a liaison between various departments, including design, engineering, and sales.
- Communicate production progress, potential delays, and relevant information to stakeholders.
- **Performance Monitoring**:

- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production performance and employee productivity.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- **Continuous Improvement Initiatives**:

- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma projects, to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in production management within the modular home manufacturing industry.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and process improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
