Nisku, Canada CJM Crane Services Ltd Full time

**As part of the management team, this individual will be innovative, will recommend and then implement improvements to current policies and procedures to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.**

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Direct all crane activities, including scheduling, manpower, permitting, transportation coordination, etc.
- Maintain relationships with current key customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Perform occasional site visits and liaise with customers.
- Ensure employees are following company procedures, policies, and completing all SWP, SJP, JSERA, etc.
- Work closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure that the cranes and equipment are readily available and maintained appropriately, and that inventory levels are sufficient.
- Serve as a bridge between field employees and office staff to ensure effective communication between both divisions.
- Ensure staffing levels are appropriate to the workload, and non-billable overtime is kept to a minimum.
- Ensure accuracy in all documentation, including completing FLHA audits, toolbox talks, and that work orders being completed correctly, approved by customers, etc and captured on timesheets.
- Adopt and demonstrate a leadership style which emphasizes the concepts of a team approach, coaching of subordinates for optimum performance, and open, two-way communication.
- Ensure internal controls are followed to maximize efficiency, productivity and to protect company assets.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 5 years experience as a Crane and Rigging Supervisor, or directly related experience in the Crane Industry
- Knowledge of crane configurations, Western Canada weight allowances, and Hours of Service
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other computer resources
- Must promote a safety conscious attitude and leadership style
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work as a team, and mesh with different personality groups.
