**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for supervising workers on the job site, ensuring tasks are performed safely, efficiently and on time.
- Review all work orders and project documentation in preparation for the installation of metal buildings.
- Monitor progress on the project, identifying any potential problems and implementing solutions to keep the project on track. Communicate any potential issues or concerns to the Project Manager.
- Ensures that the job site is safe for workers and contractors, adhering to all Provincial safety regulations and protocols set out by CMB.
- Coordinate with other departments and contractors involved in the project to ensure that projects are running efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Train and oversee new workers, ensuring that they are familiar with safety procedures and company policies.
- Manage the budget for the project, ensuring that expenses are kept within the allocated budget.
- Provide regular progress reports to Project Manager and other stakeholders, and updating the project's status as necessary.
- Ensures that the work performed by the workers meets quality standards and specifications as set out by CMB.
- Handles employee grievances, issues, and concerns are addressed in a timely, professional manner. Allocate general and daily responsibilities to all workers. Conduct daily and weekly safety talks.
- Inspire a culture, that leads by example, where your actions and words line up with CMB’s core values.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years’ previous experience in a similar role within the metal building industry; minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
- Good communication skills, physical stamina, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in metal construction with tools of the trade.
- Read, follow and understand blueprints, drawings and work orders.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate is a must.
- Ability to delegate and manage workers with a high standard of integrity and professionalism.

**Hours**

This is a full time, permanent role.

Travel is required to job sites throughout the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area and occasional out of town work may be required.

Days: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (5 days a week)

**Salary/Benefits**

Starting $31.00/hour
