**JOB SUMMARY**: In keeping with the philosophy of inclusion and the mission of Hutton House, the Coordinator will respond to the employment needs of program participants by establishing relationships and employment opportunities with employers in London and Middlesex County.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Program Coordination**
- Provides supervision to the Administration Supervisor, Employment Consultants, Business Developers, Job Site Trainer and Intake Advisor.
- Promote the abilities of persons with disabilities and the services of Hutton House
- To fulfill job quotas as agreed upon with the Manager of Employment and Training.
- Contribute to the development of promotional/marketing materials for the employment programs on an as needs basis.
- Provide advocacy services to assure the rights of the employee are protected at the work site (i.e. wage compensation, exploitation, etc.).
- Develop and implement curriculum for specialized 14 week program.
- Coordinate schedules for participants.
- Recruit participants for upcoming sessions
- Provide information sessions for potential participant.
- Maintain daily attendance records, submit attendance and exit information on weekly basis.
- Provide guidance and supervision for the overall project.
- Monitor and implement evaluation procedures for the project.
- Promote the program to all the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development service delivery providers, schools and other appropriate programs to ensure a steady stream of referrals.
- Provide lead role for the registration process of the participants.
- Monitor progress of each participant, addressing any barriers that affect progress.
- Make appropriate referral to other education or training organizations.
- Providing referrals for participants to the Job Coach for work experience placement.
- Assist participants with money management skills as needed.
**Monitoring & Evaluation**
- Using agency software, ensure all required documentation is completed on a timely basis e.g. employer contacts, performance statistics etc
- Develop and maintain a follow-up/monitoring system with current and prospective employers e.g. written correspondence, employer recognition.
- Coordinate and reconcile training allowance payments and work experience payments to participants.
- Complete staff performance reviews.
- Conduct meetings as needed
**Working Relationships**:
- To maintain a positive, supportive relationship with all staff, participants and volunteers.
- To advocate to ensure that the dignity and rights of persons with disabilities are advanced.
- To adhere to all policies of the organization to ensure a safe and supportive environment for participant.
- To gain trust and confidence with coworkers and the business community
- To contribute as a team member to the overall mission of the organization and the goals or objectives of the team.
- To respect and adhere to confidentiality in all communications with others.
- Participate in staff meetings or committee meetings and other events of the organization as required.
- Participate in an annual performance evaluation.
- Participate as a positive team member engaging in professional development as required.
- Reporting on a regular basis to the Manager of Employment and Training.
**Safety**
- Maintenance of fire, safety and health conditions in compliance with WSIB, WHMIS, other legislation and Hutton House policies.
- The correction of any offences or concerns identified by the Health and Safety Committee; reporting promptly on any physical or health condition that may affect employees, participants, or volunteers.
- Responding to emergencies and completion/submission of accident/incident reports on a timely basis.
- To maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
