Corrpro Canada, Inc. is seeking an experienced NACE Certified Senior Corrosion Technician to join our team in Pointe-Claire / Montreal, QC.

Corrpro, an Aegion company, is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
- Installation, mise en service et inspection des systèmes de protection cathodique
- Surveiller les activités de construction pour le respect des spécifications de conception
- Mener diverses procédures d'essai de protection cathodique spécifiques pour recueillir des données à des fins d'évaluation, y compris des données de potentiel structure-sol, des mesures de sol et des données de redresseur.
- Gestion de projets comprenant les communications, le suivi budgétaire, les bons de travail quotidien, l'acquisition de matériel, l'équipement, l'équipe de travail, la planification de l'exécution et l'aspect sécurité
- Travailler avec les ingénieurs dans la préparation des rapports d'enquête et des rapports de travail finaux
- Réunir les données pour la préparation du rapport final du client, y compris les recommandations de service.
- Adhérer à toutes les politiques et procédures organisationnelles, y compris toutes les initiatives de gestion de la santé, de la sécurité et de la qualité
- Fonction de chef d'équipe au besoin
- Installation, commissioning and inspection of cathodic protection systems
- Monitor construction activities for adherence to design specifications
- Conduct various specific cathodic protection test procedures to gather data for evaluation purposes including structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data.
- Management of projects including communications, budget follow-up, time tickets, material acquisition, equipment, crew, execution planning and safety aspect
- Work with Engineers in the preparation of survey reports and final job reports
- Assemble data for preparation of final client report including service recommendations.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including all Health, Safety and Quality Management initiatives
- Function as Crew Leader as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Connaissance pratique des systèmes de protection cathodique et de revêtements de pipelines, un atout
- Diplôme d'études collégiales/CEGEP (diplôme en électricité, génie civil ou électronique de préférence)
- Certification NACE CP
- 5-7 ans d'expérience en contrôle de la corrosion de préférence
- Posséder et appliquer des connaissances techniques complètes sur les projets
- Expérience en construction dans un rôle de supervision
- Expérience en tests DCVG sur pipeline, un atout
- Connaissance d'AutoCAD, un atout
- Bilingue (anglais et français, parlé et écrit)
- Permis de conduire Québec classe 5 valide
- Working knowledge of Cathodic Protection and pipeline coatings systems desired
- CEGEP/College degree (degree in electricity, civil engineering or electronic programs is preferred)
- NACE CP certification
- 5 to 7 years corrosion control experience preferred
- Construction experience in a supervision role
- Experience in DCVG testing on pipeline, an asset
- AutoCAD knowledge, an asset
- Bilingual (English and French, spoken and written)
- Quebec License to drive Class 5
