- About The JobIn collaboration with the leasing team, the Manager Leasing - Office, will have the primary responsibility of leasing 4711 Yonge Street, 4800 Yonge Street, 789 Don Mills and support the leasing of a portfolio of mixed-use office and retail properties in downtown Toronto. In this capacity the Leasing Manager will work in close collaboration with the internal property management and internal construction groups, as well as external listing teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source prospective tenants that align with the marketing strategy for the portfolio
- Research and analyze the market to gain an in-depth understanding of current trends and rates to support the structuring of financially-sound deals
- Create presentations and marketing materials to attract prospective tenants
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and prospective tenants
- Conduct property tours with listing brokers and prospective tenants
- Prepare and/or negotiate offers to lease in accordance with approved guidelines
- Recommend leasing transactions summarizing financial viability, rental rates, covenants, options and tenant requirements complete with competitive information working in close collaboration with Senior Management
- Prepare annual budgets with a focus on new leasing opportunities and renewals that maximize portfolio value
- Provide regular reporting on opportunities and deals in progress to Senior Management

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of progressive work experience in commercial office leasing on either landlord or tenant side
- Experience in the leasing of Toronto office space is a must
- Established, strong network of contacts within the Toronto commercial real estate community
- Excellent business acumen demonstrated by a solid understanding of real estate finance, valuation and general market knowledge
- Superior customer service skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including negotiation and persuasion, capable of selling ideas and recommendations
- Knowledge and interpretation of offers to lease and lease documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident demeanor, strong presence
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Team player with a high degree of initiative, flexibility and a strong work ethic
- Completion of an undergraduate degree
