**Ce que vous ferez**:

- Construire des modèles et des actifs à utiliser par l'équipe FX.
- Créer des effets naturels et surnaturels (c'est-à-dire de l'eau, de la fumée, de la poussière, des éclairs, des bulles, du feu, de la lave, des ombres, des explosions, etc.) pour contribuer au personnage, au lieu ou à l'atmosphère.
- Démontrer un large éventail de capacités FX supérieures dans un environnement collaboratif afin de conceptualiser et de créer l'aspect général, l'attitude et le style du FX.
- Respecter la direction définie par le directeur artistique.
- Fournir des suggestions et des recommandations sur la technique et les éléments dans le contexte de la scène.
- Exercer un leadership fort et des compétences en matière de communication avec l'équipe pour s'assurer que les missions de FX sont comprises et réalisées selon les instructions.
- Cultiver et maintenir une relation de travail créative et fructueuse avec les directeurs, les superviseurs et les autres départements.
- Faire preuve d'une bonne communication écrite et verbale, et afficher une approche collaborative et solidaire du travail avec les autres membres de l'équipe.
- Participer activement aux réunions de l'équipe/département.
- Faire preuve en permanence d'un jugement sûr dans tous les domaines de rendement.
- Encadrer et offrir un soutien aux artistes moins expérimentés, en leur fournissant des conseils et des instructions dans le domaine d'intérêt du département.
- Encourager et communiquer activement des solutions solides aux problèmes techniques et créatifs.
- Maintenir et communiquer une solide connaissance des technologies d'animation FX innovantes.
- Respecter les échéances et les objectifs du projet, tels que fixés par le département de production.
- Travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe ou de manière indépendante pour déterminer les différentes solutions de conception.

**Ce que vous apporterez**:

- Au moins 3 années d'expérience dans un rôle d’artiste FX principal sur un projet entièrement animée ou hybride.
- Au moins 7 années d'expérience en animation, de préférence sur un projet entièrement animé ou hybride.
- Excellentes compétences visuelles et souci du détail.
- Excellente connaissance de Houdini et Nuke. La connaissance de Maya et Katana est un plus.
- Connaissance de l'ombrage Renderman, du rendu de volume et expérience du raytracing (un atout).
- Capacité à réaliser des scripts VEX et Python (un atout).

In the role of Lead FX Artist, you'll be responsible for guiding and supervising a group of FX Artists in crafting impressive effects on our project. Collaborating with your team, you'll have a crucial part in maintaining both the technical and artistic excellence of our project.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Build templates and assets for the FX team to use.
- Create natural and supernatural effects (ie, water, smoke, dust, lightning, bubbles, fire, lava, shadows, explosions, etc) to contribute to the character, location, or atmosphere.
- Demonstrate a broad range of superior FX abilities in a collaborative environment to conceptualize and create the overall look, attitude and style of the FX.
- Uphold the art direction defined by the Director.
- Provide suggestions and recommendations on technique and elements in the context of the scene.
- Exercise strong leadership and communication skills to the team to ensure that FX assignments are understood and completed as per instructed.
- Cultivate and maintain a creative and successful working relationship with directors, supervisors and other departments.
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication, and exhibit a collaborative, supportive approach to working with other team members.
- Actively participate in team/department meetings.
- Consistently exercise sound judgment in all areas of performance.
