**Key Responsibilities**:
- **SEO Strategy Development**:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify valuable target keywords and phrases.
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- **On-Page Optimization**:
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and images, to enhance search engine visibility.
- Ensure website structure and navigation are SEO-friendly.
- Conduct regular audits of website content and make recommendations for improvements.
- **Technical SEO**:
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site performance, indexing, and crawlability.
- Optimize website load speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Manage and improve website’s XML sitemaps and robots.txt files.
- **Content Strategy**:
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is optimized for SEO.
- Provide guidance on keyword placement and content structure.
- Monitor and analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- **Link Building**:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
- Monitor backlink profiles and disavow toxic links.
- Establish relationships with industry influencers and other websites to build valuable links.
- **Analytics and Reporting**:
- Utilize SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor and analyze website performance.
- Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of SEO campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- **Stay Updated**:
- Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Continuously seek out new opportunities to improve SEO performance and adapt to changes in search engine algorithms.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and website management platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with paid search (PPC) and social media marketing.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they relate to SEO.
- Familiarity with local SEO and international SEO practices.
**Working Conditions**:
- This is a full-time position, with the option for remote work depending on company policy.
- Flexibility to accommodate different time zones or work schedules as needed.
**Job Type**: Freelance
Pay: $56,600.00-$61,345.00 per year
