Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of all management and salaried compensation plans and other rewards programs for the company. This role is responsible for job evaluation and grading administration for the Corporate and Division operations. The role is responsible for providing effective analysis, research, reporting, forecasting and recommendations that develop and enhance the Corporation’s Canadian and global rewards programs. The analyst will serve as an escalation point for issues or concerns to resolve problems expediently and in a way that is consistent with corporate policies and philosophies. Activity is guided by the overall compensation and Total Rewards philosophy and practices of the Corporation and specific program design.

**DUTIES**
- Provide research and analytical support for compensation and other reward programs for senior management to make data-driven and informed decisions, including design considerations, market reviews, impact & cost analysis, stress-testing and modelling various scenarios, and dashboards.
- Evaluate and grade position descriptions and recommend compensation ranges and incentive eligibility based on the company's internal job classification system and external market comparators, including maintaining any system tools, set up requirements and processes to adhere to appropriate standards and maintain equity across the organization.
- Participate in compensation and other rewards-related surveys to obtain robust market intelligence to benchmark jobs to the external market, including survey matching, survey data file preparation & submission, results data analysis and pay structure regression analysis, identification of market pressure roles, and maintenance of benchmark data for market comparator groups.
- Prepare regular/ad-hoc reports and support analysis/data requests, including monthly/quarterly forecasting and accrual of compensation plans and other reward program expenses, turnover, employe/job/compensation reporting and plan documentation.
- Support the annual salary and incentive administration process, including annual compensation planning/budgets, updating and maintaining decisioning tool, review and analysis to determine health of compensation decisions, recommendations and approval process and award communication statements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned including preparation of materials and reports for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and/or Pension Committee, Total Rewards governance, project and program support (e.g., benefit and retirement plans, service recognition and mental health/wellness) and analysis.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, compensation or equivalent experience working with large data sets
- Degree or diploma in Finance, Data Analytics, Human Resources or other relevant program
- Working towards obtaining CHRP, CCP or other HR/Finance designation preferred
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate moderate to complex data sets
- Ability to interpret plan documents & public disclosure materials
- Should possess knowledge of country specific compensation and benefits practices and trends
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving, analytical and project management skills
