Are you a dynamic leader who is able to step into the role of Program Coordinator and manage a team of Attendant Care Workers/Personal Assistants? The supervisor of the program site, one of seven in the City of Thunder Bay, is responsible to ensure our consumer needs are being met through efficient management of the Attendant Care Workers/Personal Assistants who work at our supportive housing sites.

Our organizational mandate is “_to provide quality services, which empower all persons with physical disabilities, to live safely and independently in the community_”. Our Attendant Care Workers/Personal Assistants assist our consumers in their own homes within the program site on a 24/7 basis. A central office at each site provides an area from which to work to complete operational tasks such as: scheduling of care, ensuring records of care are managed, and service plans are administrated.

Responsibilities of the role include tasks such as assisting consumers in developing their service plan, developing and maintaining respectful relationships with consumers, managing day to day concerns of the operation, liaising with family of consumers, and/or other service providers to ensure consumer needs are being met. A strong emphasis will be on the supervision of the services provided by staff to our consumers, while ensuring consistency and quality excellence are maintained to a high standard.
