- **We are currently looking for an HSEQ Advisor. **_

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Supports the corporate structure of a HSEQ management system
- Assists departments in the development of process descriptions, procedures, and work instructions
- Responsible for HSEQ and Project Document Control
- Assists with the provision of HSEQ training to personnel & subcontractors
- Promotes a high standard of safety, environmental and quality awareness
- Performs other job duties as assigned by HSEQ Manager
- Assists with the planning and performing of worksite HSEQ audits
- Ensures the inspection of HSEQ equipment
- Assists with and follows up on pending HSEQ Nonconformance Reports, Preventive Actions and Corrective Action Requests
- Assists with the coordination and conducts monthly safety meetings
- Assists with the preparation of Management Reviews of the Integrated Management System
- Maintains statistics on HSEQ performance
- Assists with HSEQ reporting on operations and in office
- Assists with HSEQ risk assessments and mitigation
- Assists in the management and reporting of environmental and safety incidents
- Maintains active role on continuous improvement initiatives
- Reviews opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies for position level
- Assists in developing and/or creating best work practices
- Oversee HSEQ Technician
- Any other tasks as directed by immediate supervisor/manager.

- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations
- Physical fit (able to pass mariners medical).

**Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:

- College diploma or University degree in a related technical field, or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Safety/HSE/Quality
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 an asset, trained auditor preferred
- Subsea Cable Installation/Marine Survey or Oil & Gas experience preferred
- Successful passing of background checks and must have or be able to obtain a Canadian Passport and Drivers License.

Interested and available for national and international travel (30%). A valid passport is required.
