**Your Opportunity**
- Under the direction of the Dean Careers and Community Engagement, the Campus Administrator is responsible for supervising daily operations in the Revelstoke centre and coordinates a wide range of administrative functions required by the academic and service departments. The primary goal is to facilitate collaboration amongst all departments to ensure that Revelstoke centre activities - teaching and learning, direct student services, maintenance and administrative operations, and events - are carried out to greatest effectiveness for all Revelstoke centre functions.
- A key responsibility is to ensure the Revelstoke centre operations run effectively and efficiently which requires frequent communication and collaboration with departments (on and off Revelstoke centre ) and creating a productive and collaborative team environment with employees who report to different supervisors. Developing strong relationships with Deans, Director and Managers to facilitate the activities at the Revelstoke centre is central to this position.
- This position acts as the Revelstoke centre’s main point of contact in the Region and collaborates with other college administrators in developing and maintaining community relationships with municipal/regional governments, educational, economic, social services, employer and industry, and Indigenous organizations. The Campus Administrator is involved in community initiatives, identifies local community information and educational needs, acts as a liaison between the community and the College, and represents the Revelstoke centre at community events.
- The Campus Administrator is responsible for managing all Revelstoke centre events and organizes Revelstoke centre working groups to guide these events. The position facilitates Revelstoke centre -specific information sharing with administrative staff, faculty, instructors, internal departments, and external agencies, and therefore requires a broad understanding of all departments, educational programs, and operational requirements to coordinate daily Revelstoke centre operations, respond to emergency situations, and triage and problem-solve day-to-day Revelstoke centre issues.
- The Campus Administrator monitors Revelstoke centre services and recommends improvements to operational procedures to support effective and efficient services with a focus on continuous improvement and operationalization of College policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the financial management of the assigned operational and project budgets and appropriate handling of Revelstoke centre receivable payments.**Functions and Duties**
- Student Experience
- 1. Ensures complaints, concerns and suggestions from students, employees, and other key stakeholders are addressed expediently, making appropriate referrals to Deans and Directors where required. Responds to concerns from students in a manner that results in a positive learning, living, and work environment.
- 2. Manages non-academic student misconduct incidents as they arise making referrals to Student Service managers as required. Documents appropriately all student mis-conduct incidences.
- 3. Responsible for ensuring the Revelstoke centre operates as the gateway to the centre, providing the key information, service and referral site for all student and visitor inquiries.
- 4. Coordinates regular meetings for the distribution and sharing of information and updates on centre operations and personnel to be responsive to student and visitor inquiries.
- 5. Responsible for ensuring that students and visitors receive a high-quality of customer service in keeping with the values and goals of the College. This will require regular meetings with campus administrators and managers to collaborate and share information and practices, and to ensure staff receive appropriate training when necessary.
- 6. Responsible for setting and implementing standards of service and tracking and reporting on outcomes. This will require coordination and collaboration with other Campus Administrators
- 7. Responsible for ensuring students and visitors are aware of centre office resources and services and provides information and tours as required.
- 8. Responsible for ensuring internal, operational procedures are relevant to current student needs for services and are implemented effectively by office employees.
- 8. Provide feedback to Deans, Directors and Leadership Council on potential barriers to student success.- 10. Participates as the onsite Manager to coordinate the response to violent and threatening behavior.
