Professional Proposal Writer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team. As a Proposal Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating persuasive and compelling proposals to win new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong writing and research skills who thrives in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
**Duties**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand project requirements
- Write and edit proposals, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Conduct thorough research to support proposal content and gather relevant data
- Develop proposal outlines and timelines to ensure timely completion
- Review and proofread proposals for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors
- Format proposals using word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Create visual aids and diagrams using software such as Visio
- Maintain a library of proposal templates, past proposals, and supporting documents
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Proposal Writer or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Familiarity with proofreading techniques and best practices
- Ability to conduct thorough research on various topics
- Experience using software such as Visio for creating visual aids is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
**Job Type**: Contract
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
