New Home Sales Assistant

The New Home Sales Assistant will be responsible for greeting and welcoming prospective home buyers to the community. The Sales Assistant will greet customers at the new model home or Sales Centre and provide them with marketing material.

**Key Responsibility Areas**
- Open and Close model homes/Sales Centre during regular scheduled hours
- Assemble marketing packages in the model home or sales center for distribution to new walk in prospects and ensure extra supplies on hand.
- Work with prospective clients that visit the community, actively follow up and maintain correspondence, and ensure home buying experience is easy and enjoyable.
- Introduce clients that are interested in purchasing to the Sales Representative who will complete the Agreement of Purchase and Sale
- Maintain appearance of Sales Centre and Model Home by performing light cleaning duties.
- Record and submit weekly traffic reports and other reports required by company.
- Location assignment will vary according to the needs of the Company and hours worked will fluctuate with the seasons of the year and community needs.
- May perform other related duties as assigned

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Customer Service experience
- Professional presentation and excellent personal skills
- Ability to self regulate tasks
- Recognize, offer and implement improvements to the department function
- Ability to review, read and understand marketing and construction floor plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

**Education**:

- Secondary School Diploma

**Working Conditions**
- Professional, clean and respectful attire required when in model home and at head office
- Wearing protective clothing i.e. safety shoes and hard hats when visiting homes under construction and implementing these same protective clothing practices to visitors being accompanied by the new home specialist to new homes under construction
- Light cleaning duties inside the model home/sales centre, tidying, keeping a clean and professional workspace/environment
- Exterior work may be required in inclement weather or as needed due to debris
- Light lifting required to carry printed marketing materials

**Hours of Work**
- Part-Time
- Standard schedule based on Model Home hours and employment contract.
- Additional scheduled appointments as required.

**Pay**
- Hourly Pay
- Commission Pay
