Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant/retirement home or similar food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
