**Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist with the registration process.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Assist in verifying patient OHIP information and collecting necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with diagnostic staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication throughout the office.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence as needed.
- Utilize software systems like Meditech to manage patient information effectively.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
