**Description du poste (Job Description)**
- Membre de l'équipe d'Actuariat Corporatif, l'équipe de Recherche et Développement participe à divers projets traitant de l'évaluation actuariel, la planification stratégique, gestion du capital, ainsi que l'équipe de gestion de risque pour la portion assurance générale.
- L'équipe de Recherche et Développement d'Actuariat Corporatif est mandaté de:
- Supporter les autres équipes en investiguant des nouvelles techniques actuarielles pour déterminer les réserves, le capital et les projections financières
- Développer des nouveaux outils, mettre à l'essai de nouvelles fonctionnalités d'outils existants, participer à leur déploiement, s'assurer que des contrôles suffisants sont en place et les maintenir en place
- Revoir périodiquement les processus courants, les rehausser et les optimiser
- Participer à diverses analyses tel l'analyse de profitabilité des différents segments du portefeuille de TD assurance ou l'analyse de l'impacts de facteurs économiques sur les réserves futures
- Collaborer activement avec les différents partenaires de TD assurance comme finance, tarification, intelligence d'affaire, analytique avancée- À la mise en place des nouvelles normes comptables IFRS-17 pour l'Actuariat Corporatif
- Au développement et mise en place de modèles stochastiques avancés
- À la création et au maintien d'outils structurés et réutilisables
- À la présentation de problèmes complexes en s’adaptant aux connaissances des clients internes
- Au partage d'information auprès de collègues et clients internes
- À la planification détaillée, du suivi des projets qui lui sont assignés ainsi que gestion des attentes des clients internes
- À l'encadrement et développement de ses collègues et à inspirer ses pairs

**Exigences du poste (Job Requirements)**

**Compétences techniques et analytiques**:

- Reconnu/e pour son jugement et son esprit analytique
- Fortes compétences en résolution de problèmes
- Aptitude à anticiper les résultats d'une analyse ou d'un rapport donné
- Reconnu/e pour sa minutie et la qualité de son travail
- Aptitude à innover et faire preuve de créativité dans son travail
- Connaissance avancée en langages de programmation (ex: R, Python, SQL, VBA ou autres)
- Facilité d'apprentissage de nouveaux langages de programmation, outils et concepts
- Connaissance de la modélisation prédictive, un atout
- Connaissances de IFRS-17, un atout
- Forte connaissance des états financiers, de l'industrie de l'assurance et des concepts de gestion de risque, un atout

**Compétences non-techniques**:

- Capacité à communiquer efficacement en anglais, à l'écrit et à l'oral
- Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec différents partenaires d'affaires et à bâtir des relations durables
- Capacité à travailler efficacement en période de pointe
- Capacité à adapter la communication en fonction de l'auditoire
- Autonomie et persévérance

**Requis professionnels**:

- Baccalauréat en actuariat ou dans un autre domaine d'étude connexe
- En voie de l'obtention de la désignation ACAS/ACIA
- Un minimum de 5 années d'expérience dans un domaine actuariel lié à l'assurance de dommage
- Expérience en actuariat corporatif, un atout
