Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Junior Quality Technician will ensure all products meet consistent, high-quality standards by inspecting and monitoring products at various production stages, and preparing all related documentation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections, witness manufacturing tests to ensure products adhere to company quality standards
- Collect production data, record product nonconformances
- Review supplier documentation, MTRs, inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance
- Prepare final product documentation, including calibration certificates, Certificates of Conformance, customer specific MRBs
- Monitor measuring equipment performance
- Maintain calibration program
- Assist in the development of company procedures and work instructions
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Postsecondary education in machining, industrial sciences preferred.
- Experience with production, manufacturing or related experience in an ISO 9001 environment would be considered an asset.
- Experience with measuring machined parts would be an asset.
- Familiarity with NDE inspections would be an asset.
- Experience with measuring equipment calibration would be an asset.
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems.
