**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Directly supervise the manufacturing operations and production employees on shift.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality standards and minimize product non-conformance.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Concord Confections' food safety and quality policies / programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, HACCP, GMPs, SQF and customer specifications.
- Co-ordinate equipment repairs and line changes with Maintenance so that they are performed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for communicating Company policies, rules and procedures.
- Ensure all work is performed within established process parameters and budgets and SOPs are followed.
- Monitor sanitation activities including plant and personal hygiene.
- Address downtime and staffing issues on a timely basis.
- Completion of inventory counts, data collection, reports, analysis and investigations.

**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**
- Ability to manage, direct and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of GMP, ESA and OH&S principles and legislation;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and coach.
- Knowledge of food safety programs and quality audits.

**Experience**:

- food manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)
