Overview:
We provide low cost housing for seniors and are seeking a casual / on-call handyman to assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks within our residence. You will be responsible for responding to various assigned tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fix/Replace leaky faucets, clogged drains, and other minor plumbing issues.
- Repair electrical problems such as replacing light bulbs, replace smoke detector batteries.
- Address other minor maintenance requests from residents.
- Complete suite renovations, which could include replacing the flooring, repairing drywall and painting the entire suite, installing new baseboards, installing new toilet and bathroom sink and any other tasks that are needed to get the suite in a rent ready state.
- Maintaining the common areas of the building as needed or directed.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools as well as painting skills.
- Strong knowledge of general repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills with a patient and friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to enable you to get supplies as needed.
