**HR Coordinator Position**

TMVC specializes in providing vaccinations and related medical services to travellers venturing to tropical and developing countries, as well as seasonal vaccinations and occupational health services through our TMVC Occupational Health Services division. You will also provide confidential administrative support to the Operations Manager and to the rest of the senior management team.

**How you will contribute**:
**Recruitment**:

- Participate and support in recruiting processes for all positions; medical and non-medical. Manage applicant flow, screening, and the full cycle recruitment process.
- Create offer letters when required. Complete reference checks for prospective employees.
- Manage new hire on-boarding and orientation processes as well as ensure the correct new hire set up, status changes and pay adjustments are completed correctly.
- Internal/external postings
- Create and maintain job descriptions
- Create and maintain personnel files, including probationary period tracking, years of service awards, etc.
- Liaise with accounting to ensure the accuracy of HR data input for payroll; inform of changes required to earnings and/or deductions

**Policy/Compliance**:

- Establish and ensure compliance with company's human resource policies, programs and procedures through coordination with Corporate Office and Sr. Leadership
- Creating and or updating company policies

**Administration**:

- Manage and monitor training material for non-medical positions
- Validating and cross-referencing licensure information for medical staff
- Administer extended health plan, including enrollments, maintain other employee benefits records
- Maintain open and positive communication with senior leadership and staff across the various areas
- Provide support to senior leaders when required
- Liaise with Office Managers, and Administrators across all locations and support when required

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years of human resources coordinator or recruitment experience
- Bachelors Degree in HR preferred or Business degree (HR Major)
- Working towards CPHR designation
- Working towards RPR designation

**Knowledge, Skills and abilities**:

- Ability to engage and interact with diverse personality types
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to seek out answers to questions and problems
- Extremely trustworthy and capable of handling highly sensitive and confidential information

This position requires periodic travelling to lower mainland TMVC clinics to engage with the employees.

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
