**The Opportunity**

The Consultant Environmental Services is responsible for working with home-level Environmental Supervisors co-coordinating and supporting environmental services in a group of Long-Term Care Homes. This includes maintenance services (grounds, equipment, and machinery), laundry and housekeeping services.

**What You Will Do**:

- Consistently demonstrates AgeCare’s Values and Beliefs in all interactions with LTC residents.
- Prioritizes customer satisfaction through the demonstration of a Residences First (playing a key role in the success of our residences) approach.
- Proven ability to Team Up (works and collaborates with others to create solutions to achieve results).
- Appreciates and demonstrates the need to Simplify (only supporting processes that drive results).Supports the sharing of the decision-making processes with home level leaders and uses a coaching model, taking accountability for actions while promoting trusted partnerships (trusting staff and valuing individual talents and expertise) with all homes.
- **What You Will Need**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity at a Long -Term Care Home.
- A sound knowledge of the Fixing Long Term Care Act (2022) and Regulations.
- Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS and any other pertinent legislation that influences the operation of a Long -Term Care Home.
- Broad knowledge of maintenance and experience in building trades.
- Post-Secondary education at the college or university level in an accredited course in building services supervision.

**Line and FTE**:0.50 ( 3 days first week and 2 days 2nd week)
