JW Finishing Inc. is a family owned business in Finishing Carpentry in Maple Ridge, BC. Our goal is to ensure our clients expectations are exceeded with attention to detail and quality install of finishing carpentry products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install trim work, molding, custom woodwork, and other finishing carpentry projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Ensure projects are completed on time
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Set up the required tools for each task
- Work accurately and quickly
- Be adaptable to changing work environments (working independently or with a team)
- Work safely with a variety of power tools

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finishing Carpenter
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Strong knowledge of tools and equipment used in finishing carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; climb or balance as necessary; reach with hands and arms; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach above shoulder level while standing; reach above shoulder level while walking.

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
