The Arthur Press (1978) Ltd is looking to hire an experienced folding operator for operating a pharmaceutical packaging equipment that is imported in Canada for the first time.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Operate machines which cut, fold, glue or clip pharmaceutical paper and board paper to make inserts, outserts, PPI pads, cartons and other pharmaceutical packaging articles.
- Operate machines which folds and press paper to form pharmaceutical packaging component.
- Ensuring that the outcoming product quality is as per required specifications.
- Suggest alternate fold patterns to graphics department.
- Clean and lubricate machine and perform other routine machine maintenance to avoid cross contamination.
- Set up jobs to be run on folders/machines.
- Ensuring that the folders are run at their optimum best efficiency.
- To abide by the company policy, procedures and related work instructions including GMP.
- Suggest process improvements to department heads.
- To check weight of packed trays to verify number of inserts per tray as per the packaging requirement.
- To fill the production forms and checklists correctly and on time.
- Report to Production manager on the daily operations for all the production processes.
- Assist production manager in troubleshooting and doing root cause analysis of complaints.

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Looking for a trained senior operator who is well versed with miniature paper folding. - Number of paper panels to be folded may exceed 350.
- Should be trained on a 24 plate parallel and 2 OR 4 plate as the cross-fold composition.
- Knowledge of paper water-scoring and gluing components is essential.
- Should be well versed for folding thinnest pharmaceutical paper, as thin as 22 lbs in weight.
- Experience of setting barcode readers and product serialization required.
- The position demands frequent machine set-ups of challenging composition.
- High school graduation, diploma required.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Minimum five years of work experience in similar field is required.
- Experience of working on 24-plate folding equipment is an asset.

**Schedule**: - 8 hours shift - Afternoon shift - Should be open to work overtime, if required
