**Environmental Coordinator Opportunity**

As Environmental Coordinator, you will be part of a specialized consulting team providing strategic regulatory and permitting advice and services to private - and public-sector clients engaged in resource, infrastructure, and community development projects in Canada and the United States.

The position is based in Vancouver, BC. Travel throughout BC and Canada may be required.

**Key Position Responsibilities**:

- Review work implementation strategy and approach with Senior Management team to ensure consistency in delivering the one-eighty brand.
- Provide Environmental Assessment (EA) support to intermediate and senior staff as follows: o Coordinate the delivery of EA documents. o Attend EA meetings, responsible for notes and record keeping. o Implement EA style guide and ensure writing compliance with the EA style guide. Undertake consistency reviews on all regulatory documents and sections. o Coordinate regulatory comments and responses to regulators with respect to EA document development and public comment periods. o Support Issues tracking/resolution and related documentation. o Support Information request responses and documentation.
- Manage technical data and assist in the preparation of technical reports, documents and presentations as required.
- Support Indigenous engagement, consultation and public participation activities including meeting and event planning, record keeping, coordination, facilitation and logistics.
- Participate and collaborate with other consultants and staff on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Liaise with clients, the public, Indigenous groups, and regulators, as required.

**Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience will depend on the level of the position offered, but shall include**:

- post-secondary degree in a relevant field;
- 2-5 years of relevant experience working on regulatory or natural resource matters;
- excellent interpersonal, team-building, and client management skills; and
- excellent written and oral communication skills.

**Desired Experience (not required, but considered an asset)**:

- experience participating in environmental assessment processes for projects in British Columbia;
- experience with resource industries and infrastructure/community development in Canada; and
- experience with Indigenous issues and engagement in Canada, including Canadian law and jurisprudence concerning First Nations rights, title, and related matters.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
