enCompass is seeking an experienced, innovative and strategic Project Manager for our Port Coquitlam, BC location. enCompass Solutions Group services customers in a variety of markets, including Ports and Terminals, Industrial (Metals, Paper, Chemical, Mining), General Industry (Automotive, Manufacturing), Utility (Power Plants, Water and Wastewater), Marine, Oil and Gas, Mining, and others.

This individual will be a key member of both the Engineering and PMO (Project Management Office) Teams and will be responsible for management of a wide variety of projects in terms of both size and scope. Your contribution to the team will include utilizing a variety of project management skills to ensure projects stay on-time and on-budget and end with a satisfied client.

**As part of the team, you will**:

- Plan and manage multiple small and large projects involving internal and external labor and procurement of material
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of customer and supplier contractual commitments, ensuring projects are delivered in a safe manner and that our customer and business commitments are met or exceeded
- Work with our technical teams to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and on budget.
- Collaborate within the PMO to create and improve project management standards and practices.
- Work with our accounting team to provide financial reporting
- Support the Commercial team in identifying and quoting new opportunities
- Assist in the development of job cost estimates and attend critical customer meetings, as needed
- Actively participate in EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) and develop a thorough understanding of ESG’s EHS Policies and Procedures
- Conduct work activities while adhering to the highest level of personal safety
- Develop and expand knowledge and expertise through continued, employer sponsored training and development
- Understand critical industry standards
- Utilize internal systems to complete all administrative duties in a timely manner, such as, but not limited to
- Scheduling, timesheets, expense processing, fleet vehicle reporting, purchase order and/or requisition creation and processing, etc.

**What you will need to be successful in this role**:

- One of the following:

- Bachelor's Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline from an accredited university or college

**or**
- Technologist Diploma in a relevant specialty such as industrial controls, power or robotics

**or**
- Project Management experience within an engineering firm that handles electrical and/or control system engineering
- Knowledge of all project management functions including design, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project accounting.
- Understanding of the change management process and working within financial constraints
- The ability to work within a variety of teams with a variety of personalities
- The ability to work collaboratively as a team with excellent written and oral communication
- Computer literacy with the adaptability to learn new software packages
- Possess a valid driver's license

Pay: $47,792.68-$132,241.79 per year
