Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education- Recognized high quality educator with a completed or nearly complete doctoral degree in a relevant education field.- Masters degree in an applicable field may be considered if combined with significant relevant experience.

Experience- Expert knowledge and experience of course content including:
- Disrupting the taken for granted neutrality of Eurocentric Knowledges.-
- Drawing awareness to the ways in which Eurocentric knowledges are interconnected with cultural attitudes, values, and presumptions.-
- Supporting teachers and leaders to engage in an ongoing journey of decolonizing their own positionalities, biases, behaviours, and assumptions.-
- The relationship between policy, school design, educational leadership and decolonization.-
- Extensive successful experience teaching similar courses at the graduate level.- Experience as a school administrator/principal, institutional leader, community leader and/or master teacher/instructor preferably in the Quebec educational system.- Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP).- Familiarity with the 12 professional competencies specified in the Ministère de l’Éducation
- Other- Knowledge of the impact and proven record of integrating pedagogical approaches anchored in equity, diversity and inclusion.-
- Familiarity using MyCourses, Zoom, and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences.-
- Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset.A commitment to working with a team of committed and engage instructors.-
- Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the course start date.- Other information:
- Contract Start Date: 1 week before course start date. _(approx)_- Contract End Date: 2 weeks after course end date. _(approx)_
