**POSITION TITLE**:IT Project Lead
- **DEPARTMENT**:Administration**CLASSIFICATION**:MG0-07**SALARY RANGE**:$76,500.00 to $91,425.00 Per Annum**POSITION TYPE**:Full-time, Permanent**LOCATION**:Saskatoon**ACCOUNTABLE TO**:IT Manager, Deputy Chief of Administrative Transformation**Brief Overview**:

- Under the direction of the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan (MN-S) IT Manager and/or designate, the IT Project Lead will provide experienced IT project knowledge while advising and overseeing the development of IT projects.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work in collaboration with MN-S leadership and departments in designing and executing IT projects.
- Navigate and facilitate IT development with MN-S departments.
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, from feasibility to closure.
- Developing written technical reports and engaging in the preparation and demonstration of technical proposals and presentations.
- Building and retaining partnerships with a network of providers internal and external.
- Researching, formulating, and recommending innovative ways to increase IT opportunities for Métis Nation-Saskatchewan and the communities we support.
- Work in collaboration with internal and external project managers and technical professionals to develop and review full project scopes of work, deliverables, cost budgets, schedules for project proposals, and change management.
- Provide support during project rollout and address ongoing project-related challenges to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance.
- Other duties assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum two to five years working within a related sector or equivalent experience.
- Strong history of IT project management experience.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong time-management skills along with the ability to prioritize daily tasks, organizational skills, and effective decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Exceptionally proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Capacity to act with tact and discretion, maintaining confidentiality of user data and information.
- Embrace challenges related to working in areas of rapid growth.

**Additional Requirements**:

- The position is based on a 37.5-hour work week Monday through Friday.
- A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to our downtown location at 310 20th St E Saskatoon would be required.
