**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to promote skill development and teamwork.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality ingredients are sourced.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing kitchen staff effectively.
- Excellent culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development.
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques as well as bartending knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
