Change Management Specialist

Acheson, Canada SMS Equipment Inc. Full time

At **SMS Equipment, **our **Change Management Specialist **is responsible for developing and implementing change management plans, tools, and deliverables for assigned projects to increase project success and business benefits. This position is in **Acheson, AB.**

This position offers a **hybrid **work arrangement.

The salary range for this position is **$90,000 - $100,000.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Develop and implement change management plans for assigned projects, including risk, impact, user readiness assessment, mitigation strategies, roadmaps, communication plans, stakeholder engagement plans, and integration with overall project plans.
- Engage and guide key stakeholders to lead and support adoption of the change.
- Support the development and implementation of a communication plan to build awareness, understanding, and buy-in of change.
- Support stakeholders to adapt to the change, through implementation of activities such as training and building change resiliency initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics, training, and project management of other components of changes.
- Evaluate and report on change adoption, project success, business benefits, and other identified metrics.

**Qualifications**:

- Solid understanding of how people go through a change and change processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics,
- Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Working knowledge of Prosci® is an asset.
