Reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor, the Kitchen Aide will enhance the dignity and quality of life of our clients, visitors, donors and staff. The Kitchen Aide will also be responsible for delivering food in company VEHICLE TO OTHER Good Shepherd Sites as needed.
- Demonstrate commitment to the mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability,

Adaptability, Quality and Dignity by ensuring the deliveries arrive promptly and in good condition
- Applicants will require to demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills
- Responsible for preparation of raw foods, the delivery of prepared food from The Centre kitchen, and other food items, to other centres and catering functions
- Rinsing, washing, stacking and storage of all dishes/utensils used in food preparation, and transportation

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing work environment
- Hospitable in dealings with clients/public/volunteers/staff, and other key stakeholders
- Available and responsive to the needs of others
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
- CPR Certificate (or willingness to be certified) will also be required
- Minimum Grade 12 education and / or 1year experience in related field
- Must have a valid G drivers license and clean abstract
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Computer literacy including: Word, Excel
- Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good

- Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
